It’s the second time for me to spend the Chinese New Year in the UK but the first time to have snow at Chinese New Year. I told Mark what the Chinese did at the Chinese New Year and he found it’s funny.
Although there was a celebration event at the China Town, I still miss my HK families & friends. Dad & Mum, will you save my red packets? I miss the Chinese New Year food and the family union dinner.
Kat and her brother and us went Yum Cha on 1st February. We ordered the Nin Gao and ate a lot of Chinese food. Then, we headed to China Town and saw what happened there.
One thing that is as similar as in HK was the over-crowded situation. ‘People Mountain People Sea’. Lion Dance was okay. We stayed at there approximately half hour and back home.
